VIDEO DOCUMENTATION AND SCREEN CAPTURES

ENTRESONS
Adriana Sá | John Klima
Tiago Sousa | Diana Combo

Performed at the Maria Matos Theatre, 2018. I played amplified wires streched in space and zither, combined with the sonic component of AG#3 (screen capture bellow), a software that processes audio samples based on input sound. Occasionally I also used an audio-generator to produce beats, by means of a light sensor attached to a stroboscope. John Klima played a long wire streched in space, capturing its magnetic resonances with a custom-made pickup. Tiago Sousa played piano and Diana Combo percussion. Video by Raquel Castro.

An audio-visual performance with John Klima at Silos, in Caldas da Rainha, 2018. John played his latest instrument, made of metal parts. I played the zither, combined with AG#3, a software that processes pre-recorded sounds and images based on pitch analysis from the zither input (screen capture bellow).

Full performance video by Filipe Rego.

DEMO: SCREEN CAPTURE FROM AG#3

Recent version of the audio-visual 3D software developed with John Klima (2016-18). AG#3 operates based on amplitude and pitch detection from an acoustic zither input, as happend with AG#1 and AG#2 (bellow).

DEMO: ZITHER AUGMENTED WITH AG#2

I play my audio-visual instrument, which outputs acoustic sound, digital sound and digital image. The acoustic zither inputs AG#2, the second version of the 3D software developed with John Klima (2012-15).
